Kesler Science Membership for Schools and Districts

A Kesler Science Membership provides access for one teacher to an online dashboard of ALL the Kesler Science 4th-8th grade resources – including updates and new releases of classroom materials – for the duration of the subscription. Finding high-quality lessons has never been easier for science teachers. Purchase multiple memberships for multiple teachers.

Each teacher will need their own annual membership. One membership covers one teacher and all of their students of record. There are discounts for more than 10 memberships and multi-year discounts.

There are two levels of Membership: Kesler Science Core, which allows teachers to download and print the lesson materials in PDF and PPTX or Google Slides format. The materials can also be distributed through your own LMS.

The upgraded Membership, Kesler Science Pro, includes all the downloadable files of Core, but also gives teachers access to our browser-based portal. The portal--a premium channel on the popular Notebook app--allows teachers to assign interactive lessons directly to students, monitor their progress, and give feedback. The interactive lessons feature drag-and-drop, drawing, group collaboration, class discussions, and other online activities.

Our materials align with 4th - 8th NGSS and Texas TEKS standards. Due to the editable nature of our lessons, and the wide variety of standards covered, Kesler Science materials work well in classrooms across the United States.

Kesler Science members will have access to six hours of live and recorded professional development with Steve Spangler throughout the year. Steve is "a best-selling author, STEM educator, and business leader branded by TIME Magazine as one of their 'most influential people of the year' because of his passion to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers."

Members also have access to “members-only” professional development videos which explain the resources and how to implement them most effectively. We have live chat support during business hours, and we are just an email away to help with any support issues. We offer live, remote curriculum implementation sessions as well.

Yes! Station Labs, Inquiry Labs, Interactive Notebooks, Student Choice Projects, STEM Challenges, and Spangler Phenomenon are all hands-on. Reading Comprehension Passages, Lesson Extensions, Spangler Assemblies, and STEM Starters have optional hands-on extensions.

Yes, our materials include support for differentiation. Some examples include three levels of inquiry labs for modified and independent learners, leveled reading passages, sentence stems for answers, and different versions of the station labs for on-level and developing learners.

The Kesler Science curriculum is student-centered and requires students to obtain information through reading. Specifically, there are resources like the writing prompts, science reading comprehension passages, station labs, and sub plans within the curriculum that focus on comprehension and drawing inferences.

A web browser is needed to access the resources. The downloadable resources are PDFs, PPTs, DOCs, or Google Drive format files. Those resources can be imported into learning management systems like Google Classroom, MS Teams, Canvas, and Schoology. For the Pro Membership, students can be anonymously rostered manually or through Google Classroom and ClassLink.
