Spring break has officially arrived so I’m going to keep this short and sweet. I unfortunately don’t have a lot planned over the break because our son is only 8 months old right now, but I’m looking forward to relaxing, refreshing, and regrouping for the testing season which is just around the corner.
This will be my first experience with prepping for a standardized test, and to be honest I’m dreading it. I won’t get into why I feel that these tests are so ridiculous, but I can think of a lot better things that I could be doing in my classroom over the next month than hammering students. That said, I’m going to try to make this an enjoyable experience for us all and have a few tricks up my sleeve.
Have a great spring break wherever you are and I’ll be back next week with my STAAR prep activities.
